Do you know what the difference between be going to and 'll/will is?
- The difference between the two can be summarized as:
- No evidence now: 'll/will
- Evidence now: be going to
- The evidence is often something you can see, such as dark clouds in the sky, eg It's going to rain, or something that is already starting to happen, eg Look at those two bikes!/They are going to crash! when we only have an idea in our heads or a belief about what will happen we are more likely to use will.
